It happened in Douglass, township police wrote in a release. A pair of "juvenile males" were walking along the 1200 block of Reading Avenue just before midnight on Saturday, June 10, the department said.
Responding officers found one victim with a gunshot wound to the gut and another with injuries to the knee and shoulder, per the release. The two were rushed to Reading Hospital and Trauma Center where police say they are "expected to be okay."
Authorities say they "believe this to be an isolated incident" and that there is "no danger to the public." The shooting remains under investigation by Douglass Township police and Berks County detectives.
